Making things happen
The best creativity and innovation in the world amount to nothing without application – the act of ‘making things happen.’ The Realise team have decades of experience of delivering across the meetings and events sector, from bespoke, specialist services to the delivery of an entire project, from A-Z.
Spinning on a new Axis
Challenge: The UK government wanted to stimulate a post-Covid recovery that addressed issues around sustainability and inclusion. One solution was an online facilitation tool, Axis. But how would the events industry respond to such innovation.
Solution: The Realise team embarked on a multi-faceted campaign that included focus groups, 1-2-1 interviews with leading industry figures and a targeted media campaign. Key stakeholders were invited to online workshops where the software could be displayed to its full capacity. We then created a robust ‘Model of Engagement’ and tested it to show just how dramatic the RoI could be.
BESPOKE EVENT SERVICES
C the Results
Challenge: CVENT is a world-leader in software systems for the meeting and events sector, offering comprehensive solutions for planners and organisers globally.
Their systems are robust and self-contained; however, some clients prefer to have the ‘concierge’ service, where the hardware is delivered, set up and configured for the event, and support is present on site for the duration of the event. But delivering that around the world was a challenge for the US based company.
Solution: Step forward Realise, who were approached to provide a ‘White Glove’ service for major global brands. ‘Realise have delivered events for CVENT clients large and small across the globe,’ explained Global Director Dane Risley. ‘Across mainland Europe, to Singapore and even in Hong Kong during the territory’s social unrest, the team haven’t missed a beat. Our clients rave about Realise, not just in terms of their technical skill but also in their enthusiasm and commitment to exceptional customer service. They are great to work with.’
Leading from the Front
Challenge: GES are a global leader in the events space, servicing the world’s biggest brands. But they needed a programme that would identify and grow their next generation of business leaders.
Solution: Realise scoped and created the GES Academy, a programme of intense half-day workshops along with a business-focussed project. Delivery took place across EMEA, and the results exceeded expectation. ‘We were thrilled with the results,’ explained International HR Director Katrina Rowbury. ‘New learning was transferred quickly back to the workplace, and it enabled us to rapidly grow and develop our people assets.’
