The Selbey Anderson College

Providing an online development portal supplemented by regular coaching calls.

When Selbey Anderson, parent company to a group of leading marketing agencies, realised the impact the Covid 19 virus was going to have, they decided to make the most of the situation.

‘Our people were still busy,’ explained CEO Simon Quarendon. ‘But we also wanted them to be motivated, and for us all to come out at the end feeling refreshed and with a sense of purpose.’

A conversation with the Realise team led to the creation of The College, an online development portal supplemented by regular coaching calls. More than 70% of staff signed up for the programme, from across the UK and also the support team in North Macedonia.

Over a 12 week period ‘students’ were given a weekly development task, whilst working on personal and professional skills which they chose to develop. A reflective journal and personal TED-style video completed the programme, which culminated in a post-Covid awards ceremony. Take a look at how our client talked about it
