David has 25 years of international marketing experience, both client and event agency side.
Comfortable suiting up or dressing down. An experienced Blue Chip manager, mentor and coach to individuals and small businesses.
A specialist in Event Marketing David has worked with Greenwich University delivering programmes to both undergrad and postgrad courses in marketing and most recently has been delivering the marketing workshop for apprentices to attain their City & Guilds Diploma in marketing.
David is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM)
Richard is a business trainer, consultant, writer, and presenter. His approach to learning is to take this wealth of experience and to transfer it into effective training delivery which makes a difference.
His clients range from major blue-chip organisations to SMEs and even micro businesses.
Richard worked for Derby university as a Workforce Development Fellow and is currently a Course Director for their Events and Sponsorship programme at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Laura has grown up in the events industry. Top 35 under 35 in the inaugural ones to watch list in the events industry.
Over her 15 years in the industry she has run events for companies such as Visa, Toyota, BBC, Various Governments around the world.
She has a deep knowledge of public events and festivals and the challenges associated with complex multi-faceted events with many stakeholders.
Richard Tierney has worked in Event Production for over 30 years; producing conferences for more than 60 of the FTSE 100 companies as well as stints in television, theatre and concert production.
Trained at Drama School (LAMDA), Film School (The Royal College of Art) and London Business School. Richard has worked in more than 20 countries.
Believing the heart of any event to the performance of speakers, Richard currently focuses on presentation coaching. He is the author of The Introverted Presenter which aims to show how Introverts can be great presenters and even enjoy the process. Richard is also the Curator of TEDx London.
Winston the Realise Bear
Social Media Expert
Winston. Originally from Harrow, joined Realise as our social media expert. He travels with the team, recording activities and events and attends all the apprentice workshops so that he gets to meet and inspire the learners to utilise social media in their work.
Business Development Queen and Sales Coach
With over 25 years of sales experience, specialising in working with unique venues including the Barbican, Twickenham Stadium and most recently the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Samme combines her commercial development skills and a passion for the industry to create a successful record of accomplishment in business growth and relishes in passing this knowledge on to others in sales training workshops focused on our industry of events.
Coach and Trainer
With over 25 years industry experience, from hotel sales to corporate event planning, Caroline’s career has involved working in most disciplines of the meetings & events world.
Caroline was an integral part of setting up the EMEA Travel, Meetings & Events Department at Cisco Systems before spending 5 years as Head of Events at Roche Products Ltd. After a role as Client Services Director at Universal (now Ashfield Meetings & Events), Caroline set up Eventful Solutions Ltd in 2009 – a meetings and events consultancy specialising in creating customised solutions to assist organisations reach and indeed exceed their strategic objectives.
Caroline has previously lectured on the Terbell Certificate and Diploma in Event Management course and specialises in corporate event management and logistical delivery from start to finish of an event with special emphasis on venue negotiation and budgeting.
She is also a co-founder of Healthcare Venues (a solution by Compliant Venues Ltd) which helps venues, agencies and corporate gain a deeper understanding of the UK and International Healthcare Sector regulatory codes as they relate to Meetings and Events.
Caroline’s dedication to the meetings industry has been borne out by her active involvement in Meeting Professionals International (MPI), where she has previously served on the UK and Ireland Board, been European Council President and also a member of the MPI International Board of Directors. She is part of various advisory boards and judging panels.

Richard has many years experience in the provision of electronic information and service provision spanning a range from hard copy publishing to RDF linked data technologies.
