So, it is Apprenticeship week and there is a lot of discussion around the topic of the new Apprenticeship Levy. With many organisations growing well at the moment in the events industry, one thing to keep in mind, with your growth, is that all companies who have a payroll of £3m and more, will be paying an Apprenticeship Levy from May 2017. This is an additional tax, collected through HMRC and is designed to directly fund the training of apprentices. #apprenticeshiplevy
If you meet the payroll criteria you will pay it… and I know I have said this before “if you don’t use it, you lose it!” .
